I agreed to the surgery and had no idea what would come next... it was a long 18 months of recovery, multiple procedures and surgeries, being told repeatedly I wasn't going to make it, fasting for more than half the time, and many other memories I prefer not to relive just to write this letter...

And after a lot of suffering with my own health, I learned the importance of a clear mind, breath, love, and so on.

I learned it wasn't just about food and exercise... and that, for me, other priorities were even more important.

With each lesson I learned, I realized that one 'category' of health would affect the other. I met example after example of meditation teachers, for example, that did 'not' exercise and were lean and healthy.

This caught my attention.
